Shipping Policy for in-Stock Items

All items indicated to be in-stock are usually shipped on the same day if the order is placed before 10:00 AM IST. In-stock items ordered after 10:00 AM IST will be usually shipped on the following business (working) day. A confirmation message (email or SMS or Whatsapp or Facebook message) is sent once the item leaves our warehouse. This message will not only confirm that the item has left our warehouse, but will also provide the shipment tracking number for your item along with an estimated delivery date (according to Courier/postal service provider, and based on the shipping method you selected). Orders are shipped through Indiapost or registered courier services only. Prithas is not in any way liable for any delay in delivery by the courier company.

Dispatch/delivery times may vary according to availability and subject to any delays resulting from postal/carrier delays or force majeure for which Prithas will not be responsible.

We ship to all postal addresses across India. But deliveries to P.O. boxes are not possible. Therefore please provide complete address with house/flat number, street address, city and PIN/ZIP code. We also accept orders from international customers who are shipping to addresses in India, Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, France, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, UAE, UK and USA. However, we may, at our sole discretion, offer delivery to other countries on a case to case basis. For delivery requests to countries not listed above, kindly contact us by email ([email protected]).

Please note that courier companies may charge a penalty for incorrect shipping addresses, wherein the address and PIN/ZIP code do not match. The customer will, without exception, bear the cost of any such penalties and/or fees, not Prithas. Please make sure your shipping address is correct and complete. In the event of a reshipment of the same order, customers will be responsible to pay re-shipping charges.

For international orders, customs duty and other local taxes have to be born by the customers and to be paid to the courier company during delivery.

Shipment deliveries are generally made during normal working hours of the courier agencies. On Sundays and Public Holidays, there are generally no delivery.  Kindly make sure that someone is there at the provided shipping address to receive the package when courier delivery is attempted.

Prithas will not be responsible for lost and stolen packages or any full or partial damages to the package after being left at customer’s address by courier/postal agency.

The purchased items are first polythene packed then put in tamper proof courier bags. Please do not accept items if the courier packet is damaged.

Prithas shall not provide any refund, returns, replacement and exchange for reason/s of delay caused on part of the carrier/courier agency. However, at our sole discretion, we may agree to provide order credit which may be used for future orders.

If a purchased product is lost in transit, we wait for 21 days and then either re-ship the product or refund the purchase amount, depending on product availability.

Billing address and Shipping address are not same. The product will be shipped to Shipping address only.

IMPORTANT: As inventory fluctuates hourly, an item indicated as “in-stock” when you place your order may, in fact, be Out-of-Stock. In this event, your order is cancelled and the same is conveyed to you by email. If you have already made payment for the order and you order is cancelled, we will issue a full refund within 3 working days. However, please be advised that it may take up to 7 working days for the refund to be reflected in your card/bank statement, depending on your bank.

Address Change request

We may, at our sole discretion, entertain requests for changing the shipping address as long as the order has not yet shipped. Please send your request for address alteration to [email protected] . Please note that request for changing the shipping address will not be entertained after the order has shipped.

Out of Stock Policy

Our inventory can fluctuate throughout the day, so an item indicated as “in-stock” when you place your order may, in fact, be out-of-stock. In this event, your order is cancelled and the same is conveyed to you by email. If you have already made payment for the order and you order is cancelled, we will issue a full refund within 3 working days. However, please be advised that it may take up to 7 working days for the refund to be reflected in your card/bank statement, depending on your bank.

Special policy for Hand printed sarees like Kalamkari Saree, Indigo Saree etc.

Kalamkari Sarees, Indigo Sarees are manually block printed or hand painted using different dyes. Therefore, few small stray dye marks are quite common in these Sarees and are not considered as manufacturing defects. The same is also applicable for other block printed or hand painted cotton Sarees.
